ME and MC sampling units are dedicated to the detection of toxic or explosive gases in complex environments (presence of humidity, dust emissions, odorous, irritant and corrosive gases…).
ASCO Instruments analyzers are designed for installation non ATEX zones, but thanks to suction sampling, they can detect explosive gases in any type of environment, ATEX or not. There are 2 types of sampling units for these applications:
ME type sampling module: designed direct sensors datalogging, for gas detection by threshold crossing, the measurement is reported to a central unit in 4-20mA or by audible and luminous flash.
The MC sampling module : designed for the most complex applications, is PLC-controlled. MC sampling units are enable to be carried out using multiplexed scanning, expandable to 16 channels.
Faults, alarms and thresholds are managed in 4-20mA, via an Ethernet network or RS485 connection. A wide range of visual and audible alarms, as well as actuators, pumps, solenoid valves or cylinders, can be controlled via dry contact.
